Today, Hive, we present to you a massive remix EP just released on La Bombe, the label headed by the mighty Sharooz. If you haven’t heard “Hysteresis” or “Up,” you must be living under a rock because both of these tracks have gotten support from DJs all over. These two new remixes take the two tracks in some fun, funky new directions that I know the Hive will appreciate.
The first tack, the “Hysteresis” remix, was done by TWR72, who have been getting support from the likes of A-Trak and Laidback Luke. They decided to put a Techno spin on this one and the result was pure genius, I’ve been grooving for this one for days now and am not even close to sick of it. Brodinski has been playing out this remix all over the place with great crowd response.
Sharooz – Hysteresis (TWR72 Remix) by La Bombe
The “Up” remix comes in the form of a Tech House monster. I’m always a sucker for good Tech House and the Scotsman Polymath killed it on this one, DJ’s – don’t sleep on this one.

Here’s a bangin new mix from techno duo Shameboy that they did for TCY Radio in Tokyo. Shameboy hail from Belgium and have been getting a lot of recognition recently, their remix of “Losing Control” by Jamie Fanatic was generally accepted as better than the original and is probably in my top 3 favorite Techno songs. This mix is 40 mins long and filled with awesome techno and electro house jams that you simply cannot help but bob your head to. Check out the mix below and more by Shameboy on their Soundcloud.

Coming to you from the Bay Area, I have some fresh original tracks from you by upcoming DJ/producer Justin Weisberg. Justin is making some really bangin’ tech house and techno tracks, stuff comparable to Claude von Stroke / Dirtybird Records productions. His stuff could easily be Beatport top 100 material with some more recognition. Justin was nice enough to send over some tracks for me to post up and share with you all. The first, So Moist, is a groovy tech house jam who’s title will make sense after a listen. The other two tracks, Rise of the Sexbots and Velvet Panckes are on the techno side of things yet both very different takes. Check out the tracks below and for more check out Justin’s Soundcloud.

Surkin, the young French producer, member of High Powered Boys, and 1/3 of the techno supergroup Marble Players, just released his edit of Canblaster’s new track, “Totem” for free download on Soundcloud. Canblaster is awesome, he is making some of the most innovative House and Techno music today. Surkin’s edit of this track is really futuristic sounding, I’m always a fan of sounds I haven’t really heard before and Surkin definitely achieved that with this track. Check it out and download it below.
