Electric Hive favorite Dillon Francis is back with yet another amazing moombahton remix. I don’t know how Dillon does it, but every track he puts out continues to push the genre of moombahton to the next level. You’d be hard pressed to find someone working harder and producing better stuff than Dillon Francis in 2011 as far as I’m concerned. Be sure to keep an eye out for this one to be released, it’s huge!

DWNTWN is a group hailing from Culver City, across the freeway from ELECTRIC HIVE hq. Dj Skeet Skeet is doing all of their production, and their song “transition’ is rising to critical acclaim in the LA music scene. LA local Dillon Francis did a remix of this track, which is off the hook. According to their Facebook, when filming the video for “Transiton” which takes place in a local bar, they were almost thrown out for not knowing they could not film there. They are also releasing weekly videos titled “Living DWNTWN”, and are short clips highlighting their day to day interactions. The prince of Moombahton Dilion Francis is at it again, this time remixing Dj Fresh’s “louder”. Dilion Francis keeps the bpm up on this track, making the track sound like more of his earlier work. I also hear that a Calvin Harris remix is on its way soon!

The internet is buzzing with the sounds of Dillon Francis and his remix of CSS. The Prince of Moombahton is releasing tracks every couple of weeks, and his remix of “Hit Me Like a Rock” brings the world that much closer to embracing Moombahton. To quote King Dillon

“when the fuck was my CSS remix officially released, and why the fuck wasn’t i told about this??”

 

Dillon Francis is as confused as we are at Electric Hive, hearing the “wrong” version of the track when it was leaked a couple days ago. Luckily, Dillon Francis released the “correct” version, and it is sure to help your Sunday drive to the beach.
