Los Angeles DJ/Producer Bul!m!atron just put out this Moombahton mix and I think you all should listen. I’ve caught Bul!m!atron DJ around LA a few times over the last few years at places like The 420 Festival, The Heist and Club Spinn and he always throws down hard, and this mix brings the same energy I usually see from his Dutch/Electro House sets. Hive I have a great new liveset to get you through your work week. This live DJ set hails from French House producer David Guetta, and was recorded on July 30 in Croatia. This set sounds nothing like the sets I have seen him perform, the entire set has a very dark ambiance to it, which is something you rarely see from Guetta. It seems the Parisian is trying to step away from the poppy sensations that once made him famous. Letting the other Frenchy Martin take the reigns. Who knows, he could just as well come out with a collab project with Backstreet Boys next week. Lots of Afrojack, and of course the summer favorite by Avicii “Fade into Darkness”, make this a great set to listen to when your running out of coffee and your boss won’t shut up.. Enough of my over caffeinated banter.

Here’s a bangin new mix from techno duo Shameboy that they did for TCY Radio in Tokyo. Shameboy hail from Belgium and have been getting a lot of recognition recently, their remix of “Losing Control” by Jamie Fanatic was generally accepted as better than the original and is probably in my top 3 favorite Techno songs. Ohh hive how we have a special treat for you… It seems that 2011 is the year of the live dj set, with recordings poping up everywhere from major artists. This is a great thing, as EDM music is founded on the ability of an artist to mix songs seamlessly, not just their production abilities. Sirus XM is changing the game of Electronic Music Radio, broadcasting live sets from some of the top festivals around the world. I know many of you listened to the broadcasted EDC sets, as well as the Skrillex radio show back in June. The power play of top EDM artists, broadcasting their sets makes EDM music the most accessible genre in music today.
