I’m going to be starting a new (at least) monthly live mix series called “Keepin It Live” so I don’t absorb myself 100% in the world of producing. I recorded the first mix last night and I’m pretty pleased with it, I stuck to Electro House on this one and packed in a bunch of songs I’m digging right now. Just found this little gem while I was at the office this morning. This is being called Dj Mehdi’s last recording, the mix being recorded as a tribute to his homeland of Tunisia. In the words of Medhi:

Damn it was a hot summer. Combination of the CARTE BLANCHE REVUE tour and BUSY P+DJ MEHDI adventures kept me on the road almost non-stop since June and lack of updates here orthere can attest.

We try and stay away from posting “big name artists”, but we could not help but post Diplo’s latest installment in the “Blow Your Head”. According to Diplo “WE DON’T GIVE A F*** ON THIS SHOW. GRAB A JOINT AND PARTY.”  Got to love Diplo’s enthusiasm. This is perfect for the second half of your workweek, and even to put on this upcoming weekend. Diplo gives a great tribute to Dj Medhi, and it is great to hear the memories of their first world tour together.

As promised, we are continuing with our Weekly Wednesday feature “Worker Bees.” We realized that my of us are able to listen to music at work, but for the most part we want to put something on, and not worry about switching the tracks every two minutes. Luckily for you we are ahead of the curve, and every Wednesday this Electronic Music Blog will present you with the best livesets of the previous week. All you have to do is stream from your computer, and at least make part of your work week a little more satisfying.
