The Swedish are dominating the progressive scene, and every moment it seems as if a new artist is at the brink of fame. Electronic Music is changing so fast. Thand is one of those breakout artists, already  getting support from Hypemachine and larger artists for his progressive house goodness. Check out his latest remix below!

This kid is seriously lacking on social media support for how good he is, so make sure to head over to his Facebook and help him out!

Swanky Tunes

Two of my favorite production groups right now are Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes. Fortunately for me and the rest of their fans, the Russian groups seem to be collaborating on a ton of tracks while still finding the time to put out top notch solo material. They’ve got the Big Room House sound nailed down to a science, and they’ve got some serious production talent to boot. Check out some jams by them below and be sure to support them on Beatport and give them a like on Facebook if you like what you hear.

There are some songs that are good for listening to at home but not at a club, and vice versa. Seya’s new Float EP does not fall into that category, these two songs are lighthearted and musically awesome sounding enough that I have been relaxing to them at home, but at the same time they make me want to hop out of my chair and dance. Seya samples classic disco sounds like a genius to craft some some beautiful music that appeals to my primal instinct to dance. I can’t imagine not moving at least one part of my body while listening to these tunes. Preview them below and support Seya here on Beatport and Facebook.

I couldn’t get any further than 24 mins in and he started playing some unreleased tracks before my urge to post this one up got too big to handle. I missed this one when it first came out, but a great DJ set is timeless. In the case of this set, Michael Woods got up and manhandled the crowd at Electric Zoo in NYC for a little over an hour. Michael Woods blends together his Electro, Progressive and Big Room styles and the result is so, so good. I had the honor of seeing him perform at 420 Fest in Orange County earlier this summer and his performance there was pretty impressive as well. Enjoy this one, I know I am.

The Hyperbits out of New York City just sent over their massive remix of Dirty South & Thomas Gold’s “Alive.” This tracks is a behemoth. I don’t often think remixes are better than originals but this one definitely gives the original a run for it’s money. The Hyperbits have combined the soulful, lighthearted feel of the original and added a dirty twist to create an absolutely top notch track. Download the track below, and give these guys a like on their Facebook page.
