Los Angeles based producer Wes James, A.K.A. Le Youth might have just found his new biggest fan. I just stumbled upon his remix of Moon Boots’ “Off My Mind” and was blown away. You may remember Valentino Khan from his “Coolie Fruit” remix or “Mark the Throne” remix album we posted.  I had the chance to chat with him a few weeks ago, and he told me he has been hard at work, producing a track for rapper T.I., collaborating with Will Bailey on a huge Moombahton original and plotting releases on Dim Mak and Mad Decent records. In his newest remix is of David Heartbreak’s “Elmo,” Valentino takes the original and crafts it into a heavy Dubstep banger. He also remixed Chuckie’s new track “Who is Ready to Jump?” I’m having a hard time putting it into words how much I like the remix, but I will say that if I heard it at peak time I think my head would explode. Two of my favorite production groups right now are Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes. Fortunately for me and the rest of their fans, the Russian groups seem to be collaborating on a ton of tracks while still finding the time to put out top notch solo material. They’ve got the Big Room House sound nailed down to a science, and they’ve got some serious production talent to boot.
